Hope in Their Eyes: Be the Reason a Child Believes in Tomorrow
Every child in Asebu dreams of a future beyond poverty. Your help can turn these dreams into reality.
Give Them Hope TodayWelcome to Queen Moy Charity Foundation
In the heart of Ghana's Central Region, countless children face daily struggles for basic education and nutrition. We believe their birthplace should not define their destiny. Our mission is to light up their path to a brighter future.
Your support is not just a donation; it's an investment in potential, a beacon of hope.
The Asebu Educational Emergency
Imagine classrooms with leaking roofs, children sharing single, torn textbooks, and young minds battling hunger instead of focusing on learning. This is the urgent reality in Asebu. Our initiative aims to transform these conditions, providing safe learning spaces, essential supplies, and nutritious meals.
"Sometimes I cannot focus on what teacher is saying because my stomach hurts from hunger. I try to be brave, but it is hard to learn when you are so hungry." – Kwame, 9 years old

Your Compassion Creates Miracles
A sturdy roof, a new textbook, a daily meal – these are more than just provisions. They are messages of hope, dignity, and belief in a child's worth. Join us in making these "miracles" a daily reality for the children of Asebu.
Our Story: A Journey of Heart
The Vision: Born from Heartbreak, Driven by Hope
The Queen Moy Charity Foundation (QMCF) was ignited by a single, poignant moment: witnessing bright-eyed children striving to learn amidst profound deprivation. That day, a promise was forged – these children would not be overlooked. We are not just an organization; we are an extension of the community, deeply connected to the challenges and aspirations of Ghana's Central Region.

Our Founder: Naa Boafoyena Hoyen Mpese Tsuru I
Naa Boafoyena (Vivalee Lilieth Hoyen), a Diaspora Queen with deep roots in Asebu, embodies the spirit of QMCF. Her return to her ancestral home and confrontation with the educational crisis fueled an unshakeable resolve to act.
"Seeing children write on their laps, denied the dignity of a proper learning environment... it was a call to action I couldn't ignore. QMCF was born from a heart that believes in the limitless potential of every child."
Her leadership is a testament to love in action, a driving force for transformative change.

The Crisis in Asebu: A Stark Reality
Asebu, rich in culture, faces a dire educational crisis. Children yearn for knowledge but are met with crumbling infrastructure, a severe lack of resources, and the pervasive challenge of hunger.

Neglected Sanctuaries of Learning
Classrooms often offer little shelter, with leaking roofs and broken furniture. Teachers struggle with inadequate tools, yet their dedication to the students remains unwavering.
"Our children are so bright, so eager. They deserve far better than these walls that might not survive the next storm." – Mr. Mensah, Teacher.

The Burden of Empty Backpacks
For many students, a school day means arriving without books, pens, or even a proper uniform. The simple act of learning becomes a daily struggle against scarcity.

Hunger: The Invisible Barrier to Education
Countless children attend school on an empty stomach, their ability to concentrate and learn severely hampered. Malnutrition is a silent enemy eroding their future.
"Sometimes I feel dizzy in class. It's hard to be smart when your stomach hurts so much." – Abena, 9 years old.
Our Response: Asebu Educational Transformation
This initiative is QMCF's heart-led promise to a community that has waited too long for change. We focus on four critical pillars to create holistic and sustainable impact.

Safe Sanctuaries
We renovate and rebuild classrooms, turning hazardous spaces into safe, welcoming environments where children feel valued and can focus on learning.
Essential Resources
Education kits with uniforms, shoes, backpacks, books, and stationery empower students, removing barriers to attendance and participation.
"Now I can write my own answers... I feel like a real student." – Kofi, 10
Nourished Futures
Our nutrition program tackles hunger by providing daily, locally-sourced meals, boosting children's health, concentration, and school attendance.
Community Empowerment
Through parent workshops, teacher training, and leadership development, we build local capacity to ensure long-term success and community ownership.
Impact & Future Goals
We measure success in transformed lives: improved literacy, increased attendance, and empowered communities. Our current goals include renovating five classrooms, equipping 250 students, and establishing a sustainable nutrition program that serves daily meals to those in need. We aim for a 30% improvement in academic performance and a 100% increase in parental involvement and teacher skill development.
